    "Founded by Michael Delman (Brown University, B.A., Lesley University, Masters in Education), Beyond Booksmart is an Executive Function coaching company that serves elementary, middle school, high school, and college students as well as adults worldwide, through 1:1 online coaching.

    Michael Delman, CEO of Beyond BookSmart, is a Massachusetts Distinguished Educator, as well as the founder and former principal of the Christa McAuliffe Charter School . He established Beyond BookSmart based on his experience working with students struggling to manage themselves."

    Process & Deliverables

    To handle the entire user experience, we began our project with a user-centered strategy. Along with developing the problem statement and beginning the design process, we used a range of research methodologies across the project's different phases. By identifying problems within the problem statement to businesses & users. We did a heuristic evaluation and create HMW (how we might) statements with testing before delivery.

    The Challenges

    • As a project for a student-centered class, design work only considers the viewpoint of end users and provides scant information about educators' perspectives.
    • Project presumptively assumes that all technical issues, including publication, copyrights, and authorization of instructional materials and technology, have already been resolved.
    • The design would only concentrate on the front features that students interact with because an open courseware platform requires complex administrative and storage respiratory.
